Disney Cruise Line has revealed the name of the third Wish-class ship on the same momentous day that the keel has been laid for the new vessel, planned for delivery in 2025. Other Disney Cruise Line ships include the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish. There are options for babies, small children, older children, tweens, and teens. Just like on every other Disney Cruise Line ship, young cruisers can enjoy Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Edge, Vibe or It’s a Small World Nursery. The Disney-trained counselors watch over children and encourage imaginative play and learning. Other live entertainment on board the ship includes the Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party that encourages fun and dancing on the upper decks.

Disney Treasure will have an all-new, yet-to-be-announced Broadway-style stage production in the Walt Disney Theatre, alongside Disney Cruise Line’s pre-existing “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure” shows. Adult dining venues will include The Rose, Palo Steakhouse, and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallament — also all from the Disney Wish. The three family dining locations aboard the Disney Treasure will be Plaza de Coco, 1923, and Worlds of Marvel. The Disney Treasure’s Grand Hall (atrium) will have a blue and gold color scheme inspired by Agrabah.
On September 9, 2023, Disney announced that it will be known as the Disney Adventure. Disney recently dipped its toes into serving previously-uncharted waters (uncharted by Disney, at least), with its new Australia and New Zealand itineraries. But thanks to a series of bankruptcies (involving both the original cruise line and the shipbuilder!), construction was eventually abandoned and the partially-built ship was due to be scrapped. Undoubtedly, the ship’s spaces will also include popular Marvel characters and other superheroes found throughout the company’s large body of work, such as the ever-popular Incredibles family. A lot of mystery surrounds what will be the seventh or eighth ship in the Disney fleet when it debuts, but there is a great deal that we do know about the massive cruise ship. Most staterooms will feature the split-bath concept and 451 will offer connecting doors between staterooms. In addition to announcing the name of the new ship, Disney Cruise Line has also revealed that “Hero Minnie” will adorn the bow in the ship’s filigree detail. The classic character is posed in a valiant superhero stance, ready to take on the world with Disney Destiny, and is wearing a new superhero outfit complete with monogram, cape, and gloves. Given that it’s a standalone ship with no “sister,” we really don’t have much to compare it to. And given that the ship is expected to target an international audience, it’s unclear if any of the traditional Disney Cruise elements might be adjusted (or completely abandoned) to better match regional travel preferences and customs.
